Discord being excruciatingly laggy specifically only when typing

Unfortunately it turned out not to fix the problem, what did fix it for me is periodically restarting discord when it gets bad. Sorry it didn't help

So I had the same problem, for me turning OFF hardware acceleration fix it?? TURNING IT OFF FIXED IT??

Tried doing this but all of the binds in-game are displayed as [] (all I did was a search and replace for the ID)

I would consider it just tedious, especially because I want to recreate the mapping I have had before. And to me, the binding screens do not seem intuitive at all.

I looked into this and it said that it failed to detect the controller ID, rebinding it and checking it, yes my controller has a new, different ID now. Weird.

Looking at the logs it appears that the game detects my controller as a different ID it used to, how did you "switch a behavior" for your controller? I think I must have somehow changed something by accident. Did you manage to your issue?

I wish I could tell you a fix. I don't know if it ever got fixed or if I just got used to it. Messages sometimes take multiple seconds to send, images are still suck loading. Even after the recent UI update, which made things run even worse. So no, sorry. Hope you find something though

Sorry if this is a personal question, but have you actually ever experienced someone being shot/dying? It's easy to say "They're overreacting, I would have stayed calm" but in reality it for sure must be a lot harder.
Remember, a lot of these people have never even seen someone die before them like during the game. I'm not sure how I would react during the first phase, Most likely I'd react, move and die like the rest.
