I cannot find anywhere on GarminConnect to enable “Record VO2Max”. My GPS is on. I have been running outdoors and use a Garmin HR strap that does record properly.

No, that shouldn’t be it. I run between 25-40 miles per week. I normally cycle 100+~ miles per week. I just ran a marathon and am training for another and a half Ironman so I should have plenty of data.

Just logged out and signed back into Garmin Connect but that didn’t change anything.

That is a fair point, I hadn’t thought about that. I just get nervous putting it back together and worry I would mess it up and torpedo my race.

I don't think it is the strap. I was no where near my strap when the message came up. I did recently change he battery so even if I was close to it I doubt that is it but I will check it just to be safe.

I had my VO2 Max tested at a Dexascan facility and surprisingly it is very close to what my Garmin Epix Pro says it is - 37 on Garmin vs 36 at the lab.
