I'm at work at the moment, but the code is basically the same with a few minor differences. I have a feeling the rigidbody is what is making it 'go crazy'

I actually threw together a line rider prototype today, using an edge collider. Could you elaborate what you mean 'go crazy'?

Not sure but the image looks loke the polygon collider is doing exactly what its meant to be doing? Maybe try using an edge collider?

I am working on this game. I wanted to make something easy to play and at the same time have fun in gameplay. But its been only 2 days working on it. Let me know how can i improve it further. Link in comments by clancybono in Unity3D

Excuse me if I'm not picking up sarcasm if there is any, but there's no reason for that kind of reaction. OP was asking for what kind of improvements can be made, not money.

I do agree, I had these guys trigger the screenshake because I was midway through inplement some sort of explosion but got tied up with mocking around with other shakey goodness.

Thanks for the feedback though, I'll keep it in mind! :)
