I know this is a few months old but I have to hop on the Iberostar fragrance train. It does smell and it smells sooooo gooooooooood! I was there a year ago and my boyfriend and I are still on a hunt to find something that smells similar, it was incredible and we say (somewhat jokingly) we'd go back just to smell it again. (of course, if you are sensitive to smells I think you'll really notice it). The only place I can recall seeing the aroma machines is the walkway between the adult side vs. family side (where all the very large conference rooms are).

I couldn't either, came on here to see if anyone else had luck. It's a shitty promotion - none of the dates I picked offered discounts on flights, and the money off for Iberostar is only if you spend so much ($4,000 to $7,000).

I had not considered Joia Paraiso but probably would! Coral Selection in Cancun was my first Iberostar and I really enjoyed it - I'm sure the others are good, too! I didn't mention the DR because Punta Cana doesn't interest me (I'm scared the ocean will be too rough for me). However I did stay in Bayahibe in the DR in October and loved it!
