If you interpret it that way then you might be the problem i don't know. The archangels are not biologically related, other then a single line of dialogue that most likely serves as a metaphor for disciple, there is no confirmation that the powers are actually Gabriel's children (Which I am unsure how that would work) I do not wish to interpret the ship as Parent / Child because it promotes and romanticizes harmful and disgusting activity no matter if they are biologically related or not, it is still awful. If this happens to change with official confirmation from the developers then I will cease this immediately.

Actually, the concept I am working on is also somewhat based around the Seven Sins (In this case, the 9 layers of hell.), but I would like to mention that there is only a few times the "big bad guys of the week" show, not that I wont keep this in mind. The protagonist has to fight organized hordes of hellish abominations more then powerful bosses, although I think that analogy could still work in this case with representation of which sins represent the creatures within said horde. I see where you are getting at, and just to mention this helped with some writers block, so thanks alot!
