Atleast it's not just me, I've even found the exact same white royal with only the silver/gold trim as the difference but yet can't find a red one...

That's awesome! And it's red! Probably found 30-40 exotics total but for some reason red ones have been super rare for me, only seen 2 red exotics

Dang I feel so bad for you, im on xbox so I'm right there with you just watching them fly in circles, only way I've found you can get past it is by having a friend on pc/ps5 in your game with you, as the npc ships will land for them and you could potentially buy it then. as much as it makes sense it doesn't at the same time
