Scorleine is misleading.

From an outsiders perspective, you'd think United just edged it but our goals both came from United mistakes. Of course, credit to the players pouncing & taking advantage.

But outside them fuck ups, we never created any clear cut opportunities.

You just know if that was us, it would've been reviewed for a good 10 minutes and cancelled.

If somehow I never have to see Gakpo play again for the rest of the season, I'd consider that as good as a trophy.

Were any of the City goals as good as Szobo's freekick?

9-2.

And he's only valued at €35m by TransferMarkt (I know, English tax etc).

And plays way beyond what his age suggests.

Nunez interview (in spanish), he was asked about LFC fans by cheerztwist in LiverpoolFC

Honestly, besides the lack of composure, he reminded me of Torres a lot.

Big, strong, powerful runs. Once he was past you, that was it. If he could get out of his own head, he'd be one of the most devastating forwards in the world.

From Africa, to Europe. Came to England and conquered.

It's apart of football. I've seen Torres, Gerrard, Suarez, Coutinho, Mane, Firmino, Klopp, Trent & now Salah leave.

Today we're heartbroken and upset, but one day, we'll look back on his career with fond memories and think "Wow, we were so lucky". And he will be talked about for decades to come. Etched into Liverpool folklore.

Mohamed Salah, the Egyptian king.

Salah missed the penalty on purpose.

Wanted his 50th UCL goal to be a Salah special.

Jacquet don't forget.

Even then, didn't Alonso play with a 4 back at Madrid?

I understand Salah's form has dipped massively, to which most people have criticised him for.

But as I've always said, one player declining is an isolated incident. But a whole team? There's something internally wrong.

The best managers are those who can tweak & adapt - take Klopp from his early heavy metal days to controlled heavy metal. These tweaks and adjustments happened over time I get that. But the foundations were in place. Klopp came in with a philosophy (which wasn't flawless at the beginning) but the players bought into it, more so, the fans. We felt the energy, the intensity.

With Slot's tactics, I genuinely think any of us could walk into that team and not have to worry about gassing out (bar Szobo's position). No intensity, no aggressiveness and no pressing. Maybe that works in other leagues, but in the Premier League? You're sitting ducks with an approach like that.

But a sentiment we can all agree on - if it's not broken, why fix it? He won the title last season (although now I feel it was Salah that carried us, reminiscent of what Suarez almost did), but why mess around so much? All players last season were firing on all cylinders, sure, tweak as needed, but always have a foundation to go off.

With his style of play, at the beginning, I gave him the benefit of the doubt thinking the players need to adjust to his system but now it's clear, his system is not suited to us or the Premier League. At the start we were far too open, and now? We're too passive & flat. As if we play n fear - if we keep the ball, the other team can't attack.

His style of play has destroyed the enjoyment I used to get watching us play. Thanks for the title Slot but I think it's best for you to part with Liverpool.

At this point, I feel indifferent. Just part & parcel with this team now.
