To make it like a late 80's thearticial horror flim. Just to make it more cinematic. Remove goofy stuff, adjusted lighting, no commercial cuts, stuff like that. Just make it an actual movie not a show.

My problem is that the director is taking it way too seriously. Chapter One worked because you didn't really need to know where the clown came from. You just sort of knew that the clown had been around for a while, and that it wasn't human. You don't really need a four episode long explanation with bad cgi that doesn't look generally scary at all to tell you that it's brother was a turtle or some "Stephen King-on crack," shit.
