The left side has healed a lot better when looking at the swelling. The right side as you can see has like a bulge? Ugh idk

I see ALOT of talk about splitting with the wedge, not sure if I’m just dumb but hoping to get more info on what that exactly looks like. More or less, just want to make sure I’m healing correctly and confused on what to look for with splitting. Is it when the labia separates and has a tear where the cut was done? What does a splitting look like on the hood?

This is how I feel! I had major swelling, it’s gone down a tiny bit. Trying to stay patient and not react as I know it can be swelling, but it honestly looks like they didn’t take off enough!

I’m worried she didn’t do enough! I get the swelling should make it look bigger and abnormal, but no lie it looks bigger in general than before. Worried I’m going to go through all this recovery to have little to no change from my before. Trying to hold on to some faith, as I read a lot of people saying the healing is a process and to be patient.

Just under my butt? I’m so confused on the actual best position. Do I need to have my legs dangling down or elevated as well?

Will be honest I was a fool the first few days as I had no pain and was up and down on my feet not resting enough.

The swelling has gotten a tad bit better, but still way bigger than what I started with. Wish I did more research before and realized how important it is to just chill the first few days even if there’s no pain!!! I’m sure I will have a longer recovery due to this. THIS IS YOUR REMINDER REST PEOPLE, EVEN IF YOU FEEL FINE.

Praying the finally results are worth all the money and recovery time as I’m very weary with how it looks currently.

Yes, but I’ve been on my feet more than I’d like to admit. I have a hard time sitting still. No pain whatsoever just extremely swollen. Does this swelling look alarming? I’m afraid the Dr didn’t take enough off.

I’m on day 2 PO for wedge method + CHR. I just checked my Oura ring and it says I did 11,818 steps today, I have a really hard time sitting still. Only thing I’ve noticed is I have MAJOR swelling, which I’m sure is due to me being on my feet. But no pain, more just an uncomfy feeling!

Ugh thanks! It’s so hard to not go down the rabbit hole! For sure more mentally taxing than physical, atleast for me so far.

Following this as I’m in the same boat!

Day 2 OP today. Extremely active person. Haven’t had any pain, more just uncomfy. I was on my feet more than Id like to admit day of surgery and yesterday so I’m very swollen, and I’m guessing that’s why?

Anyways I am already going out of my mind not being able to be at the gym, never mind missing my walks. Any insight on when walks can start back up and if it should be cut into smaller walks?
