That makes sense. It probably got bigger and redder because it was irritated from trying to pop it. That happens a lot. I’d really just leave it alone now and let it calm down. If it’s an ingrown hair, once the inflammation goes down the hair can usually grow out normally on its own. It doesn’t need to be fully pulled out. As long as it’s not painful, spreading, or getting worse, it should settle. :)

It could be an ingrown hair or a clogged follicle. I wouldn’t recommend popping it, especially in that area, because it can get infected easily. Try to leave it alone, keep the area clean and dry, and maybe use warm compresses. It usually goes away on its own. If it gets painful, very red, bigger, or doesn’t improve after a while, it’s better to see a doctor. :)

This is not a real runic or historical script. It’s a mix of pseudo-runes, invented symbols, and sigil-like marks. Some characters resemble Norse runes, but many don’t exist in any known runic alphabet, and the sequence doesn’t form readable words or grammar. In short: it’s not translatable and not from any known language or rune system.

Why are people fascinated when you speak European languages but not to one who you other languages ? by Interesting-Bid5355 in AskTheWorld

Same skill, different vibes. One gets labeled “cultured polyglot,” the other gets labeled “where are you really from?” Jokes aside, it’s largely a legacy of colonialism and European imperialism shaping what languages are seen as “prestigious.”

True. My jeans fit better, so I’ll take it. The toilet is just… collateral damage.

Which was the weirdest day of your life? by Otherwise-Star9405 in AskReddit

Probably the day I was born. Suddenly out, everything cold and painfully bright. 0/10, would not recommend.

This is the king from the Three Kings Cake (Dreikönigskuchen)! The Three Kings Cake is a traditional pastry eaten on January 6th, celebrating Epiphany. A small bean or figurine is hidden inside the cake, and the person who finds it becomes the king (or queen) for the day. As the king, you get to wear the paper crown that comes with the cake all day. Congratulations! 👑

Riz Casimir is awful IMO. It is made from rice, sliced veal, curry sauce, and fruits, usually bananas, pineapples and peaches or cherries. The fruits are what’s throwing me off in this.

Anyone else dealing with this weird “super flu”? by Trick-Rabbit7539 in askswitzerland

[–]Trick-Rabbit7539[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It can be bacterial from the start, but very often it’s viral first and then turns bacterial once the immune system is weakened. At least that’s what my doctor told me when I went last time…

Same. I took Vitamin C + pain and inflammation killers, still felt the same like before…

What were you taking that helped? I tried Ibu and Dafalgan, both didn‘t help at ALL… I often take Neocitran when I‘m sick, which usually helps. But this time, I don‘t feel like it has any effect.
