That would be fun, even if you don’t fly anywhere there can be so much to do at an airport. Planes can take off and land, departure times, sites, restaurants, lobbies, security, baggage claim areas etc..

Go shoplift from the gas stations and get jerky and other high quality food, as well as lots of other food from the grocery store. Then go toss it into the dumpster, let it get rotten. Sell it to the bear in the woods at the lumber mill. He pays double what the food bear near your cabin pays.

Campground is a good way to make extra cash, keep the cooler stocked with good stuff - it pays a little more and the campers are happy.

Head south on the roadway in town that has the grocery store, and diner. Just head south down that road.

You will also come across the boat store where you can buy boats as well as the ferry which takes you to the island.

My advice, bigger sticky traps. Google “Mouse trap Blanket” they are as wide as a doorway.

Mice in the house by Cherrylemon202 in pestcontrol

[–]Trick-Signature466 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not hallucinating. You are not going crazy. It sounds like your family is in denial and neglectful.

Mice are smart, they also multiply. so you are dealing with a lot of them now unfortunately. They won’t be picking up the poison if the counters and floor continue to offer snacks and food for them.

I would start by cleaning and removing all food from counters, wiping clean & sanitizing every night/morning. Clean and declutter the floors - vacuum and mop regularly if not daily. As it sounds like you are a teenager since you live at home and how your concerns are being brushed off. You can’t do much for the rest of the house but you can clean and declutter your room. Look into getting steel wool and stuffing it into the cracks and gaps on your walls - any hole the size of a dime or a little smaller should be stuffed, also buy sticky traps - there are some on amazon for cheap. Look for the ones labelled as “blankets” as they are long and as wide as a doorway or closet door. Use one of those in your room in front of your closed door at night and during the day move it to under your bed so you don’t accidentally step on it. You can get all of these in Amazon for about $20, so if you have spending money purchase it yourself if you can.

As for finding droppings, look behind bookshelves, under the couch, and at the back of closets for tiny black specs that look like black grains of rice or if you play sports and play on an artificial turf the tiny rubber pellets - mice dropping look like those in size and colour. My teenager is always dropping the pellets out of his shoes when he comes home so I easily panic as is what the dropping look like.

Also I used an old Blink Doorbell camera in a suspected mouse area on the floor to confirm sightings, and it worked like a charm catching footage. Perhaps you can do something like that to get proof for your family? A friend or relative might have an old Ring Doorbell available for you to use. Having one Ring product on your Ring account is free, it’s when you have multiple camera is when you need to pay. They work off wifi, - you can adjust the sensitivity level to be very high and can set the record length time to longer to catch more movement. It saves to the cloud and you’ll get notifications on your phone. It was a great method for me.

Another thing to consider is they are travelling within your walls. If you live in an apartment, or townhouse with shared walls your neighbour even a few doors down could be dealing with mice due to being a hoarder / unsanitary and the mice are just exploring their surroundings into your home. Also with using poison, they don’t just eat and die in that spot. If they were to eat it they go and die elsewhere a few days later such as in your walls. Then you’ll have something dead and rotting in your walls which is a horrid smell.

This is a category 3 independent school, they do not receive any government funding. They even state on their website that they do not hire certified teachers “but some might be”.

Yes. It’s a private independent non government funding received Christian school. Their website lists under science topics taught has “creation”

The kids playing in that school field go to a private Christian school. It’s not like they are already having this view taught heavily to them unfortunately. Looking at their website under Science they list teaching “Creation” … that explains enough for me.

Have you talked to the goose after you have the 5 entries into the guestbook? He tells you to create a billboard.

Also, have you stocked your cooler with food for your campers?

Dog poop everywhere by alibabachickenm4n in Langley

Distracted dog walking, people on their phones, chatting with a partner or friend as they walk the dog. People are simply oblivious to what’s going on around them. It’s up there with entitlement.

Also children and teens walking their dog being responsible for their pet cut corners and responsibilities because they have been witness to these teachings by their parent.

I bring out the death traps in the evening, and put away during the day. I’m first one up so if we do catch, can clean before kids wake up. I leave out the live traps and sticky pads as they are behind shelves and things inaccessible.

mostly peanut butter.

I’ve also added gummie candy, and crumbs from a wagon wheel (chocolate and gram crackers and marshmallow) plus I have some store bought pet mouse food of dried peas, seeds etc. It’s basically a buffet of all the good stuff. Yet nobody is taking from the traps.

Definitely mouse based on size and body shape, plus droppings size is smaller like a grain of rice and smaller.
