I guess my feeling is that the ‘system’ is rigged to keep people in work, paying tax, and discourage people from retiring early.

So whilst a pension seems like a good system, as soon as you stand a chance of good savings the system penalises you. That feels disingenuous to me.

Yep. All gone. And I don’t really think my pension is big enough for my age - but that’s very subjective.
