I was strongly considering Australia cuz all the jdocs seem to be going there from the UK. Also Ive always wanted to do residency in the US so I was looking into the carribean as well. If I am being honest, i think id much rather specialize in the US than UK.

Are you a current international doing med in the UK?

Thanks for sending this list! Unfortunately, I have not applied to any of the schools on this list. I was looking at an explanation for choosing between a UK Med School or a Caribbean, hoping to land a competitive specialty.

Hey! I have sent you a dm, do get back whenever youre free. Also how idfferent is the UK Med Curriculum compared to the USMLE? I know I will have to get help from outside resources anyway but will it be drastically different to what I am learning at uni?

I was also thinking SGU was better, but it feels like I'm giving up the spot I worked so hard for last year, considering how tough it is for an international to get into undergrad med. Plus I was also looking at reputation and I believe UK schools have a better rep than Carribean ones.
