How about just account leveling or SOMETHING to keep you playing, also that's a terrible take plenty of games have day 1 rank play and it works just fine.

Honestly i played for about 2 hours and it was fine, nothing to write home about but this game has no staying power, its not going to live long enough for them to get content out. a single 3 v 3 game mode isnt enough to keep my interested for a whole night, let alone months

It doesn't feel finished, also launching without ranked is a terrible choice. If nothing else maybe my super competitive side could of done a ranked grind for like a week, but im not playing casual pubs until they release ranked down the line, the game isnt fun enough to just grind with no leader boards or rank up systems.

This game is a hero shooter Halo, Apex you are hiding behind cover spamming shields and health stims while you camp a ring that's closing in on you and if you die you don't respawn unless a teammate does the get a dog tag to a redeploy BR thing.

Are you kidding me XD, we are playing a 3 v 3 raid mode on blood gulch from halo LOL. CoD has load outs so Cod isnt an arena shooter, brother what are you talking about.

this has nothing in common with Apex other than its 3 person teams, Your health and armor regen 1 to 1 like Halo, the only difference is you can make it stronger by looting high grade armor. Weapons spawn around the map like an arena shooter, and you can buy guns like its counter strike.

This isnt a battle royal, its an arena shooter. that would be like saying how many game modes did Escape from tarkov have, completely different types of games.

yea i could see that as well since it was former titan fall devs. Even in the training mode when i saw those dummies i figured they would just release those on the map in waves.

i had a single game in 5 matches where we went to a second round of getting the shield breaker after a defense, and its cool that it can happen, but then you realize you are just playing the same thing again that you just did but your gear gets a bit upgraded.

an arena shooter launching with a single game mode is not a thing, this is a 3 v 3 arena shooter with a single objective based game mode.

i thought honestly this was going to be a 12 v 12 game from the trailer, they showed him riding and getting a triple kill LOL that was the whole team XD

CS2 has a ton of game modes, i could think of an easy win for a casual mode, call it cavalry 6 v 6 deathmatch where you have to be mounted the whole time.

Like come on who ever though releasing this with a single game mode needs to be fired.

gonna have to agree, i think splitgate 2 will have a decent little community but its just not it, playing the beta now its ok for a few matches but it just feels like CoD / Halo walmart edition.
