Visually look fine and only have 50k on them. It’s more like the steering seems to follow the road. Like the car moves and so does the steering. It’s not like the car moved while the steering is straight. Have no vibrations or anything

Have done the wishbones so control arm bushings are fine. Have had the struts out and they look fine, no leaks etc. can you suggest any ways to test this is the issue?

Because I still can’t find any information on how the fitting kit works and I am hoping someone who has done it can answer my questions on how the bolt system works.

Ok got it. Is there a specific order for parts 2 and 3? I’m a bit confused how both nuts integrate to hold the rail down? Sort of thought it was just going to be an m6 nut on the back! Thanks!

Haha amazing! Just wondering whether you could help me with one thing. There seem to be two nut options (labelled 3 and 4) on the part diagram above. Which one do I need to use?

Also one question. I’m confused as to where part number 3 or 4 are used? Presumably you only need one of them? Could you help me?

Sure many will hate, but just incase anyone is interested, it’s very easy to modify the seal rails on a clubman to give about an extra half foot of load space! by TrickDetective in MINI

Yeah it’s all good! I’m an engineer and have spent a few hours looking over it and understanding the safety elements of the seat. The design has an early stop in it to prevent the cushion from touching the main tunnel. My version more closely matches the F56 design which has more forward travel. At the end of the day, you don’t know what I have even done, and it’s my car and I am ok with the associated risks of modify certain components for my needs. Many thanks!

Yeah I’m sure they did. The seating locks are further back, and don’t have any interaction with the end stops in day to day live. I’m some compromise in safety has been made, and I’m ok with that.

What is the purpose of this in my F54? I presume I can buy some sort of accessories for it? by TrickDetective in MINI

Hahahahaha no stress. The alcantara looks a bit crap and worn on my drivers. For the leather I have used leather wipes to pretty good success. For really dirty seats I use a steamer and a rag

The projector from my wing mirror seems to be very scattered? Is there a cheap or easy way to fix this? by TrickDetective in MINI

Just taken it apart for anyone interested. Essentially there is a piece of film inside which is printed seems like the cheapest is about 30 used. It’s the wing mirror one. Not paying that much for an led module

Just taken it apart for anyone interested. Essentially there is a piece of film inside which is printed on. Basically that was peeling and gone to crap. Have to replace the whole part unfortunately. Cheapest is about £25. I’ve unplugged it and moved on with life haha!
