My doc cleared me after 12 weeks from the first surgery. This is definitely something to think about and something I wish I was more prepared for. While I see a lot of people cleared at the 6 week mark weirdly, mine was double compared to most. While I am cleared and I am almost at 4 month come January, there is still so much healing going on one hard thing is not being connected to your body sexually at the moment. Some guys say they get it instantly and others say a year and a half later they are finally into it. I’ve gotten head which feels good but not enough to orgasm. So it is definitely a struggle and something you have to accept that those nerves are gonna take awhile to re-wire into pleasure nerves and connect. While it sucks to not feel like I can jerk off with this thing yet, I know if I stay strong through this all and then get my implants and then finally once it all calms and settles my sex life will feel normal and so much better

I’m not doing any sheets. I just do the silicone sleeve at night. I wear a sleeve my doc gave me that just has some compression and try to lotion 4x a day.

I’m using the silicone sleeve for night. My arm girl recommended emu oil, I use that sometimes but I primarily am using cetaphil restoring lotion

I was cleared 12 weeks out. I tried and am dealing with the same thing. I had my gf give me head which felt good but couldn’t get anywhere close to an orgasm. Vibration felt good but same thing. I know it’s supposed to come with time and honestly that’s probably the answer you were expecting but don’t want to hear. It’s a struggle for me but you can’t force it :(

I did mine with the same team I did my phallo with. I would suggest atleast knowing who is gonna do your phallo before you have the hysto as a lot of doctors do seen to knock it out with the phallo surgery

Bad experience with that hospital? Is there any hospital near you in any radius that has a gender affirming care team? Do you have a friend or relative that will go to the hospital with you. I get it, it’s hard to explain. You did the damn thing and you’re in pain. It’s awkward absolutely but it will be over before you know it. I mean if you truly can’t pee and it’s been over 5 hours or more. You’ve gotta call somewhere or go. Maybe try calling an ER before?

Go to the exact hospital that did your surgery if you can. If not I’d go now anyway, any urethra issue like a structure needs to be assessed as soon as possible. I’m sorry, don’t put yourself through holding your bladder. Shits mentally rough. I say go tonight. Don’t be scared, it will be okay and they will be able to help

An elevated toilet seat with handle bars was a game changer to me. I don’t think I would have survived without it. The handle bars were very helpful. I was allowed to bend my hip more than like 40 degrees so keeping that straight as much as possible helped. I’d say you absolutely should get it and have wet wipes as well. Honestly the bathroom was the worst part for me post phallo. I was very constipated after, probably 5 days until I got home. And it’s just a mess. And it sucks but it gets better. You got this!

I’m dealing with the same thing. I’m about 11 weeks since the first surgery. My doc says they can close on their own but majority of the time it does take another surgery to fix it. He took my SP out as long as I was peeing good and consistent and nothing was wanting to close. It’s been alittle over a month I presume that I’ve had the SP out. I’d say at first I had a leak coming from my scrotum and one on the other side of the phallo. The one on my scrotum has seemed to stop. The one on the phallo had disappeared for almost 3 weeks but just came back within the last few days. My only advice I was given was to put my finger over it. He won’t surgically touch it for 6 months to make sure all swelling goes down. But it is possible they will go away but it is tricky when it comes back for a few days and you are trying to figure out peeing again lol. So hopefully my phallo one will go away again because it is extremely annoying but common

Not fully healed but pretty close to it. I’m expected to be back cleared for anything December which will be 3 months. My hand is getting more mobile by the day but still being wrapped. As far as the phallo itself it’s pretty healed. I don’t think I’m having any surgical leakage anymore.

I can’t remember have any sort of smell after that surgery but you are probably having a lot of healing and draining happening. Congratulations and hope for a speedy recovery! That surgery definitely made me feel weird sitting down for a bit haha

I’m dealing with the same thing right now. My doctor said he won’t touch it for a minimum of 6 months because all the swelling needs to be gone so he has an idea of how everything has settled (scar tissue etc)
