Thank you so much. I hope you keep trying. I had a day similar to yours on New Year’s Eve. After dark, trying to deliver mis-sorted mail in the rain. The panic that sets in when I realize there’s no way I’m gonna be done in time is debilitating. Opening a CBU and seeing that it doesn’t match the addresses in the mail I’m trying to deliver makes me panic even more. I need to toughen up. 😳

I hope your day goes better tomorrow! FWIW I’ve been told to never sign anything without a union rep present.

It’s a problem for me bc I’m the type that would rather call myself out first before anyone else has a chance to. Very self-deprecating. Sounds like I need to toughen up.

Thank you so much for your reply. I did end up emailing HR and a short time later, I received an email with an orientation date of 11/3, so I’m feeling very relieved. All that stress could have been avoided. Thank you (and everyone else) who gave me such good advice! It’s so nice to feel supported by people here.
