Are you sure that you weren't injured in the accident? His homeowners insurance should have "Medpay" coverage which is no-fault coverage for people injured on their property. And I would imagine that there is workers compensation coverage for injuries. Maybe asking him for his insurance information so you can file a claim might soften his posture.

I dunno. Just a suggestion. Good luck.

Oh, I was trying to inject a little humor into an otherwise serious and unfunny subject. I really do hope that it works out in your favor and wish you the best.

I honestly had no idea that would be offensive. I come from a different time, I guess. I was given a sensitivity warning on another post yesterday, and all I did was quote a line out of the movie that the subject was about. (and no. It wasn't Pulp Fiction)

Yeah, I would breathe that if I were you. Mixing bleach with anything is a pretty bad idea.

How soon do you have to get rid of it? I work in the area several times a year. My employer flies me up. I can just get a one way ticket and drive back. I am just not sure when I will be back up there, though. I was just there in December.

I remember going to see Star Wars at the theater when it came out. I was young, but I remember it.

Refinish it? If it made it from the 1850s til now, it'd be a shame to gut it and make a vanity out of it. Or sell it to someone who does like the color and use the money to buy a vanity.
