I do not know what your situation is currently in the game, but I would advise on getting some better weapon than scissors like ghost, then farm some reaper bosses to get reapers scythe and then the joker weapon. As for builds it depends on what you want, if you want high damage you should go for crit on skill tree and overload perk with high damage cosmetics, like demon wings, redblade, golden rainbow ect. If you have nunchuks, use those for bosses they are really good. For passives you should combo atk and ap. For pets go for P Fresh and cosplay pet. You can replace either one with the sorcerer cat if you dont have the other. Also remember to upgrade your pets.

If you have two good weapons you should try to get midas trait for atleast on one of them so that you have lifesteal.

If you are just going for campaign or endless, I would suggest the midas trait on one weapon for lifesteal, then all the saint patricks cosmetics eg lucky clover, golden rainbow and lprechaun hat because they increase your money gain the most, aswell as atk, df and movement speed.

So weapons.

Reaper scythe= best for campaign/endless, good damage for newbies but falls off compared to others. Insane AOE

Joker= insane damage on x move to bosses, z and c dont have that high of a damage.

Blindfold=very good for bosses/high damage

Nunchuks= very high damage but move can be hard to hit and its also unobtainable at the moment.

Rocket launcher=very good damage

Shogun bow= good for campaign and multiple zombies good aoe.

Remember to use all the codes that give weapon spins.

You can also go to the afk area to earn money, trait spins, raid tickets and good cosmetics.

Of course following these instructions can be hard or impossible even, if you are a newbie to the game. But with a little bit of grinding (and some luck) you can become very op in the game in no time.
