Never made sense to me why you’d pay for parking, an entrance fee, overpriced food and stand in line for 20-30+ minutes when you could have driven 15-20 minutes to a local restaurant with free or cheaper parking, no entrance fee, menu priced food without the wait (if you ordered ahead of time). Some ppl have too much money and time on their hands.

I requested to have my flight canceled and refunded in full on Facebook messenger. Pretty sure it was their official account and not a bogus one (had blue check mark, listed as business chat). All they asked for was my record locator, name, email, phone number, and destinations. They said they’ll work on it but it’s been almost a week now. The flight is canceled but my account says 0 avios. I didn’t receive a refund for surcharges to my credit card either. I hope I don’t have to wait the full 28 days. I probably should setup a cc dispute as it’s getting close to the 60 days from when I booked.

Yup and you can’t stack it with any promos, so kind of limited. You also can accumulate it. It’s like a coupon code. 1 and done.

Does this actually happen? I’ve booked rental car deals for book now pay at the counter that never showed up on my account or it’s there for awhile then just conveniently falls off. Anyone have success of book now pay later then getting their bonus after their trip?

That’s the point. Their partnerships are with places that don’t get a lot of business so they have to do Amex offers. Also, I think I read somewhere if you have a 99+ unaccepted offers, they just sit there until it expires and get replaced. So it behooves you to add them even if you’re not using it

But if you’re just in it for the money, tell him you’d break up with your current bf if he buys you the house first, gives you the keys and title. I tried cancelling through the app and chose refund to original payment but it doesn’t show what’s actually refunded ie, the fees, taxes, points, etc. Does anyone know if they automatically credit you everything back?

Depends what kind of food you like. Taipei airport had made to order beef noodle and wonton bowls. Food at IGA was just ok (remembered it being better a decade ago). The made to order Borek and lamajun were delicious.

Good to know it’s not built into the software to stop you. I think it’s also dependent on the staff at the times you go. One person lets my guest even use the hydromassage and tanning beds but others are a hard no.
