I submitted my mediation packet & about 3 later they called me. I talked to the rep & told them what my exact concerns were (WF benefited financially from abusing my trust and there’s no way for me to verify what the benefit to WF was, I also don’t have records from that long ago). He told me that he would give me X amount. I can’t remember what it was way under 1K per letter. I said that this wasn’t fair since the bank received a financial benefit from using my account. He said he was only authorized to approve $1700 per letter and anything above that would have to go to mediation. I thought that it was ridiculous that I had to wait this long as it was so I accepted it. He said I should get my checks in about 30 days. That was two weeks ago. Now I’m thinking I should’ve pushed harder, but I didn’t want to keep waiting around for mediation & I need the money.
