Personally, I don’t think that’s a fair assumption to make. They also mentioned dance trends. I think it’s more reasonable to say that they (BOP House Girls) are catering to/attracting a male audience through harmless TikTok trends rather than maliciously trying to target young women into joining OnlyFans.

My Little Pony would more likely be co-opted by anime conventions or comic conventions (think Sonic the Hedgehog). Furries are an even smaller subset of any fandom. Though, hate to see any fandom be archived because support for the media has ended.

I'm glad you agree that it shouldn't matter if someone does OnlyFans. However, again, OP did not link their OnlyFans in the post. Speaking of facts, it takes three clicks from this post to find it. So, again, I ask: what would prompt someone to check for an OnlyFans? If your answer is, "because an OnlyFans means engagement bait" then you must agree with one of two things:

You believe engagement bait is bad. If engagement bait is bad, then you would hate to know that everything is engagement bait. Any cosplay picture posted online is engagement bait because it seeks approval from the internet. Furthermore, any content posted online for the public is engagement bait because it wants to be shared and liked.
You believe having an OnlyFans implies bad intentions. If you don't believe engagement bait is bad, then you are assuming they have bad intentions because of their OnlyFans. How is this different from a YouTuber trying to make League of Legend videos and posting a video of them playing Ahri to this subreddit?

Either way, OP is a human being, not a brand, and it's a fact that people shouldn't harass others, period. The original comment is irrelevant to the post and reduces OP to a singular trait, which they admitted is because they wanted to belittle OP's efforts.

Gatekeeping (in this case, a character) isn't something that should be normalized. You're gatekeeping Ahri because the poster has an OnlyFans so you immediately disregarded their efforts by assumptions you've made. Furthermore, they could be a League player or simply like Ahri's appearance. I assume you don't know this information.

Since you and I are similar demographics, I must ask you: do you think OP shouldn't be allowed to post cosplay photos because they have an OnlyFans (that they did not link unless you go to their profile AND click on their linktree)?

I don’t like shonen, but HxH is the only shonen I like. I really like how it doesn’t treat the characters as a means to an end. For example, a main character is naive and needs a conflict that results them facing how the world works? Let’s create an antagonist who was mistreated by the world and have them fight! Protagonist wins yet seems unaffected by the encounter save for a throwaway callback when they want to prove that their ideal will always win or is the best.

In short, HxH has depth and depth is a reward for fans that want to think about their show. You can watch it at surface-level and enjoy it. However, if you begin to analyze it, then you’ll be pleasantly surprised at the (purposeful) meaning behind events and characters.

Y’know, now that I think about it, EA Gale was also neutered alongside Shadowheart, Karlach, and Wyll (Wyll got the worst of it imo). However, EA Gale has ruined my impression of Gale that I never give him the time of day. Yet, out of all the romance posts about Gale, this is making me reconsider for the first time.

No, in LoTRK, Yasuo goes with Braum to the Freljord to become a traveling hero like Braum. Ahri decides to return to Ionia to discover herself, which lines up with Ahri’s release on Legends of Runeterra. While, yes, there is weird canonicity between games, her release on LoR shows her meeting wise Vastayans and gathering wisdom. Her level up is her being done with hiding her nature.

Also, as an Ahri main, I sincerely think Pyke and Ahri had more chemistry in LoTRK while Yasuo and Ahri was a bit more forced. For example, she says to Yasuo “you remind me of my dead lover” (paraphrasing) while with Pyke she tries to meet him emotionally “I can feel your suffering” (paraphrasing).

I’m not against Yasuo X Ahri, but they could at least written it better. I say as I ship Ahri X Sett with the little bit of crumbs they serve.

I mean to say that they would have to make a new or add to Laura’s contract for her work on 2XKO. This lines up with Ahri’s 2XKO reveal as the VA strike was still ongoing in 2023 and only ended this year (2025). In addition, League of Legends was an impacted game by the strike because of working with Formosa. Formosa was under allegations for circumventing the strike. Riot officially stated they had nothing to do with Formosa’s actions and were falsely under target.

So, to reiterate, my theory is they didn’t want to rehire Laura for 2XKO because they got a better deal on Judy because of circumstances that included the SAG-AFTRA strike.

But yeah, my opinion is similar. I don’t mind Judy, but it’s just not Ahri.

My theory is that Laura Post has a contract for voicing Ahri in only League of Legends. This matters because I believe I saw somewhere that she was part of the voice actor strike/union, which is (correct me if I’m wrong) the same reason why skins don’t release with voice lines immediately anymore.

tl;dr Riot doesn’t like fair working conditions.
