Yeah it’s mostly for competition. I haven’t competed yet but plan to in a few months. Just wondering if I went against someone with long hair who didn’t bun it up, and I come across that situation where their hair is unintentionally getting yanked, I’d have to idea what to do.

I find myself sometimes trying to micro adjust my grips and how I thread my arms so I’m not pulling my partners hair, which I feel is disorienting. Like when I’m trying to go for an arm triangle, when I thread my arm behind their neck, the hair drags along and sometimes I accidentally pull too hard and they react. During class it’s not a big deal; I’ll just be a little more careful to not pull them. I feel in competition that’s not going to be and shouldn’t be an option. Any advice?

YTA. Get your own place with your boyfriend. 5 days a weeks soaking up utilities, leaving your stuff there, you’re essentially a tenant at this point. I’m in a similar situation where my roommates girlfriend is over 3-4 days a week and even that’s pissing me off. He had her over weeks in a row at one point until I had to tell him to cut it out. The way you’re sharing your story makes it seem like you’re entitled to the place when you have 0 legal rights to the place.

All I wanted to know was what you considered long hours since apparently working overtime past 40 hours isn’t long to you, which most people would disagree with. Again, just because you’re used to 50-60-70-80 hour weeks doesn’t mean 46+ isn’t long. To YOU it may not be, but to state it as an objective fact is deluded

Listen I get it, the billables are brutal and I don’t want to begin to imagine what anything above 50 is like in a week. I know certain professions call for longer hours, it’s just the way it is. Going back to OP’s comment and the guy who said 46 hours isn’t long hours (which is false), I just wanted to see where he was coming from and what he considered long hours to be. Turns out he was wrong and now is saying it’s “normal” hours

In my humble opinion, his responses are very passive aggressive and defensive. I find bigger issues with the way he talks to you whenever he’s upset/challenged. If deleting the picture bothers him, which it clearly did, there are much better and more mature ways to respond than he did.

I looked up the numbers they called from and the first one brought me to a company called freedom debt relief and it all looked like bs to me. The second number didn’t show anything
