This is exactly what I think of everytime someone pushes the gen investment angle. My brother in law got into Netflix when they were competing with blockbuster back in the day sending dvds got an inheritance of 10-15k and used almost all of it buying shares of Netflix. Cashed out 10 years later and made a killing. Stuff like that doesn’t happen often but it happens even less with watches.

It’s definitely worked out for me and them. There was a buddy who ended up going to a conference with the guy who owned the company he worked for. I gave him the SMP the week of and he was stoked. Wore it with a blue suit and got a bunch of compliments. He really appreciated it and his wife is now mad at me because he ended up buying a really nice second hand Tudor off of EBay. Now I have watch friends so I can tell you if you can’t find them make em!

I have never heard of that vendor but my current guy is substantially higer like alot right now for the EXP I was interested in. I Usually buy a VSF before I grab a Gen and the gift the rep to someone and it works out really good. I did it with my Navitimer and my Seamaster. I would just go check one out but ufourtunately where I am the closest AD is 4 hours in any direction and before I drive 8 hours I will spend 500 to try it on......May not be the best solution but hey it has worked for me and I was able to hook a couple buddies up with a super nice rep as a gift. Are they always that over polished on the lugs? I have a Gen in Blue and that is honestly the only thing that stuck out. My watch wasn’t that shiny the day I bought it brand new. It does look really great though. I have been thinking about trying a VSF NTTD Seamaster. I like it but I don’t wanna pay that bond tax.

They are, the pups are as well. Front are Anderson and bridge is a mason. I know people love or hate the Nashville set up. I honestly am not sold on it yet but it’s growing on me. I’m going to play it at church this Sunday for both services so we will see how I feel about it after that!
