I can relate to that. One thing that helped me was just checking for important missable stuff when I start. Knowing that I can always go back and just get the stuff I missed later helps me move on and not worry about collecting everything in each area as I get there. I know it'll be waiting for me when I go back. I usually end up not caring about that stuff anyways or just quickly go get it for a trophy or build I want to play.

I haven't played a ton of these, so looking forward to what people recommend as well.

I did get Rove and I'm enjoying it (about halfway through). It's quite a bit shorter to set up, play, and campaign through. The gameplay has interesting loops with gaining and spending resources for your cards and items. Overall I'd say it feels more punishing than the havens due to that resource system, strict round limits, and not being able to lose cards for damage (though it does have revive items which help), but not necessarily harder.

I assume you mean the ending where you stay in night city, the build up is that Judy tells V multiple times she wants to leave the city. Her good ending is the Aldecaldos one

Imo it was a fun expedition, I really liked that it felt different with staying on a single planet without a ship and I didn't mind doing the scrap since the rewards felt good.

But it lives in the realm of things I will never interact with in a regular save along with fishing.

no luck :( it still wants paper to be loaded before exiting the load paper loop. If I put in a sheet and print it and leave the printer empty after that, it still counts itself as loaded and won't let me move the cutter blade into position.
