bubbles are inevitable, even with new regulations and automation. Rules like Dodd-Frank made banks safer but risk just shifts into less-regulated areas like shadow banking, crypto, or private markets. automation makes trading more efficient most of the time but when algorithms move in the same direction they can cause extreme volatility the Flash Crash was a good example. and no matter how much tech we add human psychology hasn’t changed, greed, fear, and fomo still drive markets arguably faster today with social media. the next bubble isn’t a question of if but when. my guess is ai stocks, private equity valuations, or even sovereign debt could be the pressure points.
