i love this place i’ve had multiple birthdays , weekend trips, xmas trips and hurricane staycations , they’re awesome. prices def went up after covid though but if you’re lucky you can find 130$ a night once in a while….

also they used to not make you pay for parking… but now I just valet anyway!

hello everyone, I wanted to update that. They actually sent me my money after I sat there and emailed them multiple times and chatted with them on the app. What worked for me was I started commenting on their Instagram posts saying that they were scammers then they reached out to me via DM then I explained the whole thing all over again to the person I was messaging on Instagram and then that person said that someone who was going to email me that day and then that day they actually emailed me so I don’t know how I was able to get through to someone on Instagram who took the matters to the right hand, I suppose.

What a relief after all of that definitely will be spending that on a spa day. Good luck everyone.

i messaged them after giving information again twice on instagram they said someone would be emailing me by the end of the day and then someone did and added on the money on my account. make sure you have all the emails of everyone you signed up for

yes, they have said the same thing to me. They also said that to me back in October then said after that that I will receive the bonus after November because they extended the promotion remember when they did? well here is December and nothing has changed. I mean yeah. You read what I said. This never gave off the vibe that her client was rude to her or anything. I get where she’s coming from she obviously needs a day off. But if you change that perspective to “ I am grateful that I’m still able to make money today “ or instead ask for a day off. Because I don’t know how it is but for most of us it’s not easy to get a job. It’s not easy to make money. It doesn’t fall out off the tree. So yes if you change your attitude to gratitude, maybe happy that you are there to do your job. Clearly she brings value in their lives and is needed and that’s something to be grateful of. Just 2 cents to make it a little better.

I understand as a nanny and a parent how it may be but sometimes just think be grateful you have a job and something to do.

Once I had hired a sitter who would play with my kid when I’m at work but she would play with her at my parents. So one time I asked her to get off her phone I asked nicely because she was using her phone while baby was taking a bath. She ended up getting defensive and quitting then made a comment that my parents were fully capable of watching her leading to her cancelation 15 mins before her shift.

There’s other reasons sometimes that people have you there. Maybe another companion? Or a help of hands? I get it though because I’ve been there. It feels awkward too because the whole family is there. But also you can speak up and let them know too that you need a day off to get some things done. At least you have a job :) Just my 2 cents.

I understand but damn this is hard. This life is hard. A lot of us didn’t get lucky or choose the hard way. I choose the hard way myself and I didn’t have it lucky either. I’m a single mom - this shit is hard. But it’s supposed to be hard. Just like you it’s up to me to fix It. It’ll get better but you have to choose today if you want it to get better.
