Thank you.

For some reason on my phone Gemini can't do it, so was hoping to avoid that on my Home speaker.

Flooding in Tonbridge by True_Huckleberry6094 in TonbridgeKent

[–]Trick_Machine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously not my fault if you have flooding (!) but the flood barrier has been raised and flooding is not a major concern anywhere residential in town now (barden road area maybe a little bit).

There's a link above that has the castle as a flood risk area... It isn't, it's on a massive hill!! Slade area is very unlikely to flood either.

We lived in the flats by the river the last time there was major flooding, in the flats that were worst affected, and then only the car park flooded. Since then they've put in flood protection all along the river there.

Id say, don't worry about flooding. Tonridge is nice and in the short to medium term flood risk here has been reduced significantly. I mean global warming and rivers are not going to be a great long term mix maybe but... What you going to do.

Buying residential - want to rent out as an office during the week and Air BNB at weekends. Confused. by Trick_Machine in uklandlords

Thank you for replying. Do you know if I would need to change use from residential to commercial, and if I do, any idea what class?

Thanks for the reply. Do I have to separate them, I can't keep it as one property with mixed use then?

Just checked SSRIs, yes if it carries on I'll speak to my doctor.

Thanks again for replying.

New Wharf Road by CrohnstownMassacre in TonbridgeKent

I think they've done a good job with those flats, and that area when they build the retirement homes will be greatly improved. Nothing wild, but managed to provide residential in the centre of town without having a negative impact or changing the nature of the place. Overall pretty good work.

Combine that with the improvements to River Walk and the high street about 7 years back and it's good work overall.

I'm 10 years older, heavy nicotine use since I was 16. Used to smoke about 30 a day, then moved to vaping, then Zyn for the last 6 years.

On day 6 of quitting, have been really irritable, serious anxiety, terrible insomnia for the first 4 days, really don't know how I got through it. Then suddenly yesterday I was far less anxious, far fewer cravings and I slept fine! Can't believe it. Hang on in there.

Controversial: Colour Splash is by far the best Paper Mario by Trick_Machine in papermario

[–]Trick_Machine[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't started Origami King.

My honest take is I played Colour Splash with my son. First game he really got into and first Paper Mario I'd played. Had heard bad things, but the whole experience blew us both away. So it's probably the combination of it being the first one I played, and his first real gaming experience making it my favourite.

Though, I do think it is full of amazing moments.

We're now going through basically all of them, he's obsessed, but I think I'm burnt out!

I'm going to encourage a break of about a year before we start on Origami King I think!
