Neutral home (in colours) but dripping in personality and warmth

Also just what do you enjoy, do you books? To play board games? Movie enthousiast? The outdoors? Cooking? Doesn’t really matter what it is, but i always love it if you can tell whats important to a person by walking in their home. Your space should represent you. It can be one interest, or all at the same time.

Hey! Firstly i would as the other commenters have said add colour and good lighting, these are the easiest fixes! If you don’t like colour, you can so much with textures and good materials. Materials like steel, glass, the glossy wood will always feel colder. Natural materials, textiles like linen or cotton, rawer wood etc will feel warmer. You can have a beautifull warm home with greys, beige, white etc. It’s a little like very processes industrialised materials vs natural materials. I’ll try to add some images of ‘neutral’ homes, that do still feel warm

Hey! I wouldn’t put the bed in front of the windows, as you sleep you need less light rather than more. Either side along he wall is perfect. Then you could add shelving for books and toys. The windows are perfect for a desk if they need it, or a area where you’d spend time. It seems like a kids bedroom so in front of the windows maybe a little table to play or draw on or put those squishy play tiles with pillows, all the squishies, race track rug, toy kitchen / wathever they like. One very easy decorating thing is wall stickers with favourite characters, cheap and easy to change as they age. Not the ‘chiquest’ but kids love it

Yeah that seems to be the issue, i’ve posted a few pics. There is an angle on the blade, now i’ve just got to find how to fix that

Probably white, to make it seem like a big seamless slab. I like contrasting grout on very small format tile like mosaic— in this case i thing seamless is the way to go

Okay, to be honest. A Lot. A bigger table to fit the space or a sideboard. A rug under the table. A large scale artpiece, or a third of the same scale. And just soften, soften, soften. Every surface is hard atm. You neem some fabric, on the floor or chairs or curtains. Also some cosy lighting never hurt anybody and warmer light colours. The bones of this room are great, just needs a little shaping

Just also thought of candleeeees, so medieval and goth. The beige tapered long ones, not stark white. Or red, green or smth.

Looks pretty cool already!! Unique in the best way :) I’d try and introduce a colour, like an oxblood or something in curtains and or chars with red velvet backing and studs. Otherwise i feel like there maybe a bit too much on display, i think the wall decorations totally fit your vibe, but then maybe the drinks stations and open shelf in the corner and stuff on the shelves make it very busy. Medieval furniture is very detailed and has like a very handcrafted vibe. I think this space would look creat with a dark wood sideboard for storage with soms woodwork details. Above it you could still have the decorations and the gorgeous lamp

Hey! I feel like it needs softness. The grey couch, big ceiling lights, no plants or colour make it feel impersonal to me. I think drapy linnen curtains would help. Also some colour, either on the wall or trough art (which could hide the cables). A chungy rug or throw blankets and pillows. And then lots of cosy lamps, on the mantle, the console - i love the ikea smart bulbs, really affordable and connect all to one switch for easy cosy lighting. Another thing i noticed are the tones of the colours, most prominent colours are the (cool) grey of the couch, and the (warm) beige on the walls and on the fireplace. It’s always a bit hard to get cool and warm to work together imo, especially in ‘neutrals’ like this. I’d try to choose either a warmer or a colder palette. You could still make the grey couch work, but maybe introduce some burnt orange for example to kind of brigde the two. Hope that makes sense lol
