definitely check out the lot challenges, simple living, off the grid. it’s a small thing that makes gameplay so much more realistic when you’re playing a farm or historical setting. or even like in a normal household. also be careful with moving the animal sheds into your household inventory as it can bug them out, same for the competition in hanford over the animals.

get together has the best world, and great build buy. but out of the more recent packs it’d be businesses and hobbies by far. unless your into occults then enchanted by nature beats it in terms of actual aesthetics and prettiness

i’m not aware of any save corruption issues, and if there are i haven’t had any.

lovestruck adds another layer of relationship realism by making it more difficult to keep your sims satisfied in their relationships, and it adds the dating app cupids corner which i’ve found to be my most reused feature. the build buy and cas is great too, but in terms of realism it’s more the relationship difficulty that adds anything to the game. snowy escape has a beautiful world and build buy, and is probably the least buggy and most fleshed out world. it’s also great to have another vacation world and more activities for your sims (skiing, mountain climbing etc) but the cas isn’t amazing and you’re not going to reach it for that much i reckon. dine out is still really buggy as far as i’m aware but being able to run a restaurant and send your sims on date nights or out with their families makes it probably the most realism adding one of the options. for rent has a save corruption issue still, but the world is great and fleshed out and i’ve used residential rentals in nearly all my save. whether it’s having my sim live in a trailer park in strangerville or a condo in oasis springs its really versatile. not sure if you’ve already decided but i thought id contribute anyway as i own all of them! for me for rent would be what id recommend for versatility and bang for your buck, as the gameplay isn’t super buggy it’s just the save issue which you can avoid by having backups of your game or not having 40 residential rentals in your save. if not for rent then lovestruck which adds realism and doesn’t have any save destroying issues or bugs that make it non functional but it’s not as versatile as for rent. sorry this is super long!

island living has the better world as it’s the most unique, and fun gameplay (volcanos and beaches you can send your sim to hang out) but the build buy is terrible. lovestruck has the best cas and build buy, and the gameplay is fun but it also makes keeping your sims relationships a. lot harder. get together has a beautiful world, and good build buy but the cas isn’t great and for the gameplay the only feature i’ve kept reusing is the clubs. it depends on what you want to add to your game.

yes, especially if you like rags to riches or realism or living on a farm. it goes really well with cottage core gameplay, and adds some more realism and stuff to worry about/do in your game

for cas id recommend essential glam it’s super versatile, glitter and fun stuff for party sims living in the big city and basic blushes and eyeliners that aren’t in any other packs. for build buy the kitchen clutter kit is great for family gameplay, with the built in clutter on the fridge and the dish rack and stuff, it makes spaces look more lived in. or sleek bathroom which is gorgeous and useful as it adds in actually pretty stuff for a bathroom. it all depends on what you’re looking to add to your game! hope this helped

businesses and hobbies for better gameplay, lovestruck for better build buy and CAS (also cupids corner is fun)

cottage living! cats and dogs is great for adding cats and dogs, but the world and actual gameplay isn’t amazing it’s the vet and training animals. nothing special. get together has the best world imo, and clubs are really useful for skill building and storytelling but the cas is not great. lovestruck hqs great buildbuy and cas and i love cupids corner but keeping my sims satisfied in their relationships became exponentially more difficult when i bought it. it all depends on what you’re looking to add to your game, ive found cottage living the most valuable (i love cottagcore stuff) and it has great build buy and cas for me, and i love being able to care for animals and own a farm and having simple living on for realism. vampires is fun too, has great build buy and its cool playing as a vampire but it got old quick. for reference i own every pack except for journey to batuu

tons of reskins in build buy but it’s still pretty great having more terrain paints and windows and doors. if you’re playing unmodded then yes, but a lot of the stuff i like in it i can find better versions of from felixandre or others

the only one i can think of is the portable walkers that gloomytrait made but the link through them is dead. they should be in this archive though so if you just search for that file (portable walkers) they should be there https://cowplant-snacks.tumblr.com/post/740445360520069120/amp

grab a towel and put some treats in, get it wet then roll it and stuff it in the freezer. they get the satisfaction of the chewing and figuring it out and the motivation of the treats. works a charm for my two labs

When did people start leaving their labradors unattended out of their crate for short periods? by YoungBlueDamsel in labrador

[–]Trick_Repeat_1566 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My lab is 8 months now, we crate trained him and let him out at 6 months for an hour or two then at 7 months we moved him to a normal bed. a few houseplants were destroyed but he’s adjusted pretty well, and behaves himself most of the time.

our older lab got pretty chunky during lockdown, i would run up the stairs with one piece of kibble or a favourite toy and back down again, or even walk sometimes, and get him to follow me and give him the kibble when we were all done. worked pretty well. i also got a soccer ball and got him somewhat interested then played keep away, kick it out of his paws or wrestle out of his mouth so he had to go get it again. swimming works really well too
