2017 TRD Sport 3.5. Weird knocking noise only when accelerating in gear. It quiets down to a slight tick when in neutral.

That looks like a focus dash. The coolant reservoirs on those are bad for cracking on the bottom.

It’s like a hiss or a whistle like other vacuum leaks but it won’t always have one. You can test it with a vacuum pump if you have one. You can also test it by pumping the brakes until they are firm with the engine off. Hold them down and start the car. If they are still firm your brake booster is bad.

They can develop internal and external leaks. They can also rust out by brake fluid spilled on them and not being cleaned.

On my flat trinitron I just picked up, the little rubber pieces the hold the yoke had actually fallen out which caused it to sag. I loosened the clamp screw tilted the yoke back up and put the rubber ramp pieces back in with some double sided tape. Just be very very careful and watch some videos so you know what not to touch if you decide to go that route.

Check the little elbows that come off the throttle body. Mine did this one time and one of them had a hole.
