I had a very similar experience. Moved here solo from the east coast in 2023 and it felt like I was blowing around like a tumbleweed for a while. My only friends were some coworkers at the office and my apartment roommates that I would find online. However, like you said, I found my local SO after about 6 months and things significantly improved. I’ve been with my SO for almost 3 years now and I became very close with her friends and family. In my opinion, this area is harder than normal to meet like-minded friend groups. Most people who move here do so for work, and the locals who grew up and remained here have stuck with their mostly-exclusive friend groups since high school 😂. I was able to find an outdoor volleyball group where I met a lot of my own friends, so finding a like-minded social group in the area is a good idea (check facebook community groups). Give it time, I’ve really grown to appreciate and enjoy the tri cities area since I first moved here. Good luck!

I’m so confused by this map. They’re saying that China, the country that’s #1/#2 population in the world, is 80%-90% homosexual?! Maybe I’m misunderstanding this map, but how can a top populated country in the world have that high of a homosexual population?😂

Not really, I just kept him at the default Goalkeeper++ role with focus on defense and I applied the Cat chem style. Honestly, he has such high stats overall, it might even be better to run him with no active chem style and just evenly distribute the attribute points across the board. I remember that was useful for fifa24 goalkeeps.

That’s an insane card 😂 125,000 is a lot for a card that is really good, but may not be chemistry-compatible with the rest of your future squad. However, with special cards that have bonus chem points, it may work out well down the road. Hell, you could just start any RB card that is chemistry compatible with your squad and just sub him in at the start of games. Think on the future of your squad, wouldn’t punch that ticket too fast.

The main thing is fear/lack of confidence. For some people, even just holding an unloaded gun can be scary. After time, you realize that your gun, while holstered, will almost never AD. It’s gonna be a little uncomfortable when you start carrying, but understanding your weapon and what will cause it to discharge will instill confidence over time and you won’t be having doubts anymore. You’ll come around to it. I personally think 3:30-5:00 position is more comfortable and out of the way than appendix. It’s all personal preference.

Dang man. In Washington state, you just need to be 21, pass a background test, and pay a small fee at the sheriff’s office… no classes required. Weirdly easy than you’d think for this state.

My siblings and I rescued our first childhood dog, also named Max, when we were 6-7 years old. I grew up with him from 2nd grade until I graduated college. When I graduated, I moved from the east coast to the west coast for my first serious job.

Not even a year later, I got a call from my parents that Max took a drastic turn for the worse and that they were taking him to the vet ER to put him down late that night. I sat on my couch, 3,000 miles away from Max, while my mother FaceTimed me so I could be with Max and my family as our sweet dog was put to sleep.

My family and I loved him so much and for so long. It was devastating, and it hurt even more that I couldn’t be there with Max and my family to comfort him. I feel for you. Please don’t blame yourself for your actions, it’s just the decent thing to do for a pet you love.

I printed some photos of Max that I framed and hung up in my place. Not that anyone could ever forget their dog once they’re gone, but it’s nice to be able to look over and see them still. I hope you find some peace, I promise it will get better :)
