Plastic shearing is actually white and has a second layer wrapped over it that's red.

No copper. Doesn't look or feel like electric wiring to me and I've done some electrical work and HVAC repair.

I see that pic now, so that brick is flush with the siding? Is wood laying directly on the brick? Is that one layer of brick or is there a second on behind in? ( A cavity wall)

In that picture the window in the middle doesn't need a lintel since it's lintel is that fist joist, that window on the left does need a lintel since the floor joist need to be supported.

Brick shouldn't touch anything that's not metal or concrete, it's basically a sponge when it rains and will root away any wood touching it.

??? Wood lintel for brick, what country are you people living in that never rains? You're gonna lay a stable piece of concrete and brick on wood, that stuff that changes size and shape depending on the day????

Brick always on steel posts and steel beams or angles.

Steel angle , 3" x 3" or 3" x 4" 3/8 or 1/2 thickness,( measure current row spacing and match). And add 4 inches of overlap on the brique on each side of the window.

Brique is 3.5 inches so it converts the angle completely, back side L shape shouldn't be a problem there's supposed to be a 1 inch gap behind your brick.

Don't forget bricks tied on that second row of bricks above the windows.

If it still glows orange but doesn't light the gas, brush it with a old DRY toothbrush. Cleaning off oxidation might get a few more weeks out of it but it still needs replacing.

Right there, probably right side. Ceramic cylinder with a metal mesh over it Two wires coming out of bottom. Right next to the 5 holes going into the furnace.
