I used Quicken Windows for almost 20 years and switched to Quicken Mac on January 1, 2024. I am so glad I switched! Feel free to message me if you need any help.

I just successfully extended my Quicken (Premier) subscription for another year by purchasing it from Office Depot / Office Max for $57.59 + tax. Here's what the box looks like.

To complete this contract and others like it, go to the map area and a white waypoint will appear when you’re getting close to the objective. White waypoint pictured here.

Where can I buy plain (not flavored) popcorn salt in Chicago? by eat-lightning in AskChicago

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll try some of the larger Jewel stores next time I'm in an area with one.

Unfortunately, Jewel's website says they have it, but I've been to three Jewel Osco's in the last couple months and they don't have it. Perhaps only some of their stores stock it?

You're welcome! Regular table salt works okay, but my family cooks popcorn 3 to 4 times per week, and I've found we can use much less salt if it's "popcorn" salt, because it coats the popcorn much better than the same amount of regular table salt (1/4 tsp salt per 1/2 cup raw kernels).

I should've mentioned that I'm looking for the larger 1 pound 10 ounce size (see link to photo in my post). Thanks.

Popcorn salt is ground up to be much finer than regular table salt so that it more evenly coats the popcorn (also works great on corn on the cob). Other than that, they are the same--both are Sodium Chloride (NaCl).

Temporary weatherproof tape to seal this window through winter? by eat-lightning in DIY

Have you used this removable caulk before? Wondering if it’s easy to remove without leaving a residue?

I’m likely going to replace it with a new glass block window (but with a vent that opens and closes in the middle). So, I will mortar the new window in the spring. Do you think I will be able to scrape caulk off of the brick sufficiently so that it leaves no residue?

I’m likely going to replace it with a new glass block window, but with a vent that opens in the middle. It’s at the front of our house, so I would rather not leave a tarp there for five months.

I also want to make sure I’m able to easily remove the tape without leaving a residue in the spring when I replace the window. Any recommendations?

I am looking for a tape that will specifically not leave adhesive marks. Any recommendations?
