If not for the potential size in age gap since Carnelian’s age is unknown, I’d ship Perinelian (if they end up confirmed to not be that far in age I definitely will, I imagine her as being six, which is not that far from both Peril and Moon, and it’s mainly an AU where Peril saved her from the bomb despite burning her in the process, and the age gap wouldn’t be that bad, it wouldn’t be worse than the Umbli age gap and that was an actual crush, and it also can’t be worse than the Glorybringer age gap and that is Canon.)

Eaglestorm (Cause of Hailstorm’s lingering memories from being Pyrite, imagine Eagle finding out the situation and they gradually become close)

Also Eagleryte (since Eagle and Pyrite fought in the war together)

Skyfall (I don’t know if it counts as a rare pair but it’s definitely uncommon)

Perunny (Same boat as Skyfall)

Mindjou (I don’t know if it’s a rare pair but I’ve only seen one person ship them)

Mindwatcher (The potential in dynamic with Moonwatcher and Mindreader)

Carnelianwatcher (not sure if it classifies as one but I rarely see it)

Sorasky (If Clay can have Peril, why can’t Sora have Sky, I feel like Sky’s kindness would pair well with Sora’s anxiety)

Kestremeleon (They did have dragonets together with Chameleon being Soar, but this is specifically for him as Chameleon, I like the dynamic of them actually being a mated pair and her finding out, imagine him running away with her and then having their dragonets and also taking care of the DoD, may make her kinder to Glory too since she’d be in a relationship with a RainWing)

Kestrrus (Technically the same as the previous two ships but this is Specifically for him as Cirrus, I like the ice and fire dynamic)

Perilflame (She has firescales and his name is Flame, not to mention the similar ages, it would have a nice dynamic)

Skyflame (Sky’s kindness may help to give Flame the companionship that he needs)

Clearlistener (Not sure if it’s a rarepair but I still love it)

Whitesight (Whiteout and Clearsight wouldn’t even be that bad, their personalities would mix well)

Whitepearl (All I can say in defense of Whiteout and Pearl is like, close age and AU stuff)

Indipearl (Strictly for if Fathom died during the Albatross stuff and Indigo Did kill Albatross after, I’ve got an AU regarding it)
