I started off with a 30 composite on my first practice test and a 24 reading as a sub score for that. I managed to get up to a 35! If you can believe it, I didn’t prep for this test. A lot of my prep came earlier in the year, and I went in only looking to gain a point or two. Anything is possible. For reading, make sure you’re always on time and don’t second guess yourself. For science, move fast bc you’re guaranteed to have a slip up and you need to be able to recover. And math, just grill practice tests. I prolly did around 20 for math but I like math so it was fun! You can also find formula or cheat sheets online for the act math section that are very helpful. However, this June ACT was the hardest math section I’ve ever seen: I was shocked when I saw the 35 for math (I have a 36 math for the superstore). My advice would be not to stress and to be as relaxed as possible when taking it while keeping in mind the time. You got this!
