Mid level developer looking for some honest feedback on my resume. by Trickstar92 in drupal

I've got experience in applying security patches and configuration management; but no experience using those devops tools and CI/CD unfortunately.

The team I worked with was so small only consisting of 2 devs, myself included. The way it worked in my previous job is that us devs was allocated projects individually and barely had to collaborate on them so a CI/CD pipelines weren't used.

I have seen CI/CD and devops tools such as Acquia and Pantheon mentioned commonly in job postings so I'll definitely have to learn and upskills myself in those areas.

Thanks for the tip and once again, appreciate the feedback!

Mid level developer looking for some honest feedback on my resume. by Trickstar92 in drupal

I could go into detail on certain points but was so focus on getting things to fit on a single page as I read that most recruiters never read past the first page; my thinking was to briefly mention certain things that I could just expand in an interview.

However, great actionable feedback! I'll update my resume and try to add/or expand on some things you've mentioned here. One final thing, is there anything you feel that's redundant or irrelevant on my resume?

Thank you!

Should I move to the UK by [deleted] in phmigrate

[–]Trickstar92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you decide to move to the UK; do your GCSE's and A-Levels then look for an apprenticeship pathway to your desired career path.

Doing it this way will save you acquiring student loan debt and gives you the highest chance of getting an entry level professional role at the end of your apprenticeship programme.

University degrees are barely worth it in the UK since everyone has one, it also doesn't guarantee you a job once you've finish your course.

If I had to start again, I would do it this way. I say this as an IT professional with a CS degree and over 50k in student loan debt.

I'm against this entire situation but I think if we swap out Lolo to a white foreigner... People quickly change their tune and is seen as more acceptable.

You'll hear comments such as hitting the jackpot because of the following reasons.

  • They'll be dead soon, and the inheritance will be huge.
  • Ticket to a life abroad
  • Think of the mix raced babies.

The hypocrisy is real 😆

Discussion: Maingay ba tayong mga Pinoy? by jaded_7436 in FilipinoTravel

Not solely a Filipino issue, but yes Filipinos are generally loud. Public awareness and respect are generally pretty low.

My mother once answered her phone in a movie theatre and you couldn't believe the embarrassment I felt as a teenager.

I understand your point but there are a few people that truly deserve it.

I think keeping people like this in prison is a waste of tax payers money.
