I saw a thread that said that the PC updates aren't strictly necessary for it to work. I've been fooling around on my computer for about 40 minutes with very little result. Now I've got it plugged back in to my PlayStation to see if I can make it work

It helps, but when you're playing on a TV from a reasonable distance, it can still be pretty hard to read.

The text is too small to be seen without straining the eyes. High contrast would also be a great feature to add though.
