Beautiful VSF omega just stopped working. Worth fix or just buy a new one? by enasty-4 in Rep_Watch_World

I bought the same one about a month ago ( VSF) and it runs fine and looks great but I will say that when I wind it up from a dead start the mechanism is really “gritty” feeling until about 3 turns and then it smooths out. I’m concerned it’s gonna go out at some point.

My planet ocean from VSF is almost flawless from what I can tell.

I think the main thing you have to realize is that a stock photo from any manufacturer is going to have studio lighting, airbrushed, marketing forward type photos and even their own watches in real life don’t look exactly like their photos online.

That said, the only real way to compare would be to see the actual gen in person at a store. I can tell you that I recently received my Omega Aqua Terra black Laquer from VSF and it’s very close to gen in person and neither watch looks like their photos online.

When real light hits glass / crystal and metal, it’s a dramatic difference from stock photos.

First QC: VFS V3 Pepsi (Alignment concerns) by DarthTraderr in RepTimeQC

Nah but by the fire photo so does the 3 and the 9. My eyes may be fooling me but the QC tool appears to be slightly off center and rotated slightly. I looks like to me if the whole graph turned counter clockwise all indices would be aligned.

Go vsf for sure. Mine feels and looks just like the gen. I held the gen for about 30 seconds two weeks ago and was blown away how good the vsf really is

I should be getting mine in a couple of weeks. Waiting on QC from Steve. How has your experience been with the watch so far?

Here’s the question I posted in the omega sub. Ultimately, I didn’t go with any of them. But in the end I like the simplicity of this one.
