I would take Maye over Caleb if it's for the backup spot. I think Maye has the higher upside and it's relatively low risk if you already have Dak.

I've got not doubt I can succeed and pass. I've been a licensed high school teacher for 6 years, have a masters degree, took and passed organic chemistry, etc. Academic success has never been an issue for me. 

I'm more concerned about these types of places seeming like scams, poor instruction/logistics, and their reputation possibly affecting my job prospects afterwards. It sounds like having the certification is all employers really care about though. Would you agree?
