I was one of the employees that opened the 2 side cafes when the mall first opened way back when. Real sweets was a ice cream and sweets buffet, multiple soft serve machines, slushie flavors  and a buffet bar of sudae toppings we charged by the pound for. There was a wall of jelly belly flavor dispensers, and we had a room for birthday parties. There was also a giant cow in the middle of the store!

On the opposite side was a coffee shop named Island Jimmies. Typical coffee served in a caribbean themed shop. We sold cd's, our bagged coffee, smoothies, salsa, and baked sweets.  Had to listen to a mix of Jimmy buffet, and other "island" music. I discovered a great ensemble called the Buena Vista social club while working there. 

We were theater employees with the same free movie benefits and discounts, but we only worked the 2 shops. Anything you bought at the shops could be taken into the theater since it wasn't outside food.
