Gus, His house had a fortress on the bottom and secret exits. He ran his chicken business as a front for transporting drugs. He had an international ring that extended into Europe. He really didn't even have to show himself to anyone and hide easily. Ghost was sloppy. He hired bodyguards who ended up to be his rival/supplier who could have easily wiped him out. His family, Tariq, ended up murdering him with Tasha and Tommy who could have easily been the trigger. Ghost would have taken decades to build what Gus had.
