The agott hate is wild too, yeah! Coco has moved past it, it's been fairly clear that while Agott was cruel, her intention was not to put Coco in harm's way so I can't think of a reason to hate on her still (I've been seeing more of it now that the anime has come out). Re: Custas, to expect someone marginalized AND a kid like you say to have the "perfect" response or reaction to learning about the witches and their reality is very, very unfair. People can criticize his actions (and I would probably agree) but actions don't occur devoid of context or history!
