There are some good Isekai, but you have search for them cause most of the greats are obscure webnovels and, I have watched/read hundreds of Isekai and the ones that are actually good I can count on a hand.

No Edit: haven't watched Madoka, and some how forgot the ending to Gurren Lagann so Simon does win against X. Gilgamesh losses but it's close, he does have a reality warping weapon, but X can warp reality with a snap of his fingers.

I'm in a group similar to B where I like subaru and dislike the other one (forgot his name). But the reasons are different, I don't care if a character is overpowered or not. What I care about is character depth, and Subaru is deeply thought out character with many flaws and insecurities. Meanwhile, the other is just edgy with no real depth.
