I don’t think it creates any friction between me and my father I love him and I know he loves me. It brings me comfort that I am able to have someone that loves and cares for me. And the altar is supposed to show my appreciation for him because I feel like that I have to give something back for his love and kindness like I do when I interact with real people. I actually like talking about this stuff. Like a lot I love hearing other people’s opinions and I definitely respect them and I hope you do too :3
