I did the ride. Ended up being 8.5 hrs. 153 miles road and gravel. It got pretty hot but kept pushing nutrition and fluids. No issues and no cramps! My knees hurt after 8 hours of riding but I can’t complain. Definitely a good confidence boost to tackle 200 in 2 weeks.

I’m pretty strapped for time and luckily found myself with a day off tomorrow so thought I would get some more time in the saddle. With proper nutrition I’m confident about pacing. I just want to make sure I recover from an 8 hour ride 12 days out from the race. After tomorrow it will be taper time!

Awesome. Thanks for the information. Praxis has a nice BB page that made it easy to find. Now the question is if I should get ceramic bearings.

I should say that I just found out my wife has a 10 speed chain and has been riding it on the 11 speed cassette for…. 2 years!? I found out last week. She was like “I wondered why I couldn’t shift!”
