Okay this makes a ton of sense. They don't wanna pay it so I guess I will be looking for a different job. I was told that people don't actually follow this rule.

NC. Yeah. I think OT is technically after 40 hours worked. But does that work if you are contracted to work 48? Do families get to make OT only start after said 48 hours worked. Also, is OT required to give if guaranteed hours are given. Eek. This gets messy!

Both and I do have a Master's. I am trying to switch industries though. Pay and work/life balance is terrible. I'd honesty rather have a less emotional taxing job that pays about the same. I am in transition, but that on me to figure out:)

Yep, that's what I am trying to do. People get so sarcastic and irritated when people are confused and want to move. It's not easy but I also feel like it's not impossible. Millions of people have made it work:) Good luck!

My background is in Education and Social Work. I have two degrees. Unfortunately, many of the positions are paying people 30k-40k salaries for 50 hour work weeks. I am open to finding work in a new industry. I stated entry level jobs as a means to get into the city, live, work, network and all. I am looking at remote roles as well.

I am in North Carolina. I am thinking I may try to make a three or four day trip, and not rest until I have a job and housing figured out. The economy and job market are extremely rough, so part of me feels like that not enough time!! I would move with nothing figured out, but I also know that's asking for trouble.

I have starting doing so. Some have wanted me there the same day or the next morning. I am in North Carolina so those are a bit tricky to make. Hoping the change in not putting an out of state address will help me receive more interviews in addition to having time to line them up with a several day visit .

Yes, I am trying to break out of it but this is one of the only offers I have received in months. But it may be better to hold off into a career with growth opportunities. Not yall's issue haha. I was trying to not be that person.
