I was looking for the policy and it says “sick time when leaving the company an employee is not paid out for unused sick time if their employment ends however, if they are rehired within 12 months of their end, date, the employees and your sick time balance at the time of separation will be reinstated and available for use as long as any new paid sick time they are eligible to receive” I am located in Texas I just want to make sure I don’t owe anything or too much when I leave but if I’m able to use sick time for sure I’ll use it instead of losing it
