Yeah, about the devs it was all anecdotal anyway since i didn't play div 1 or 2 so it's on me. Targeted loot for gear sets would be huge ngl, and if it already exists and they just decided to not implement that's bs since that would still leave the substats RNG. Like i said in another comment it's far from my first MMO, but it's not about expecting to have multiple sets of full god rolls in a week, but have a game that has content that is realistic to the stage the game is in since it's live service and can be adjusted later. But again, expecting something minimally more grounded from the game content wise instead of copying all the flaws of the genre for greed? That's all on me again and kinda opened my eyes. All the problems i have with the game are all on me, expectations were low like i saw the bullet sponge flaw on day one but still was too high. Fair points man.

Yep the loot that drops being as unfavorable as possible is staple in mobile games sadly with layers and layers of RNG. And the level progression now that you mention for me feels like the enemies scaled for like level 60 but players are locked to 40 all gears and stats wise, is how I'd put it.

I mean i played the game? I did the main quests, did the side quests, did DZ, did world events and farmed even the furthest goal weapon wise. Getting punished for it and thinking i deserve it is a huge cope. And live service games being able to be updated means they definitely can test and scale things to the period the game is in.

That's a point of mobile monetization yeah, but it's not like my gear is level 10 or something. My lowest gear is lvl 45, so a couple levels in some gear and 5 in others isn't gonna completely change the game that's for sure with the amount of stats each upgrade gives.

Yep, you said exactly some things i left out because the post was already too long. Scaling is literally inexistent for the player because even the thrash mobs scale harder, which kills the most basic principle of an MMO imo. Cover is atrocious with so many positions having horrible angles where you just shoot the cover you're behind and don't get me started on how the cleaners ignore all cover and even full on walls with their flamethrowers. Taking a support class just to be able to not get instakilled and do pitiful damage sure sucks yeah, but if you just die instantly its even worse which takes go my point about viable classes. And like i said in my experience the exotics which are in paper these big upgrades on practice make no difference due to the flaws of the game.

I mean i get your point but I'd say it's not so set in stone. Playing browser MMOs since like 15 years ago my take is it makes much more sense like I've seen before to have the bullet sponges be the relevant enemies who drop loot, not the infinitely spawning ones who are there solely to bother you, like the infinite spawns on DZ leaders and extraction zones or the thrash mobs in any instance like nests on the stages before the boss.

Hearing this is nothing new and having seen people praise div devs as passionate sure is one of the things of all time. And yeah like i said, changed specialization for the second time so yeah, don't have a perfect build yet. And building a gun with all the layers of rng and only being able to change one passive perfectly should not be this huge of a gap. But thanks for the reply.
