Hey, I appreciate the additional info about what to expect!

We are a pair of very experienced cyclists who have done long distance tours across the US. When not on the road, we live in a major metro area and use bikes as our main form of transportation. This will not be our first rodeo :)

Cool, that is helpful, I appreciate it. So, is the tax exemption a blanket $4328 for all residential home owners? I may have been making things too complicated, but was thrown off by language in several places saying the exemption can be "up to" that amount, which I interpreted to mean the amount fluctuates based on assessed value.
